Protect your plants from over and under watering with Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix. This gardening product feeds plants for up to 6 months and Grows Plants Twice As Big (vs. unfed plants). In addition to promoting plant growth, the exclusive AquaCoir Formula absorbs up to 33% more water than basic potting soil that does not contain sphagnum peat moss, coir, and a wetting agent. This potting soil for plants works best with all types of outdoor container plants, including flower pots, shrubs, vegetables, annuals, perennials, and more. To apply, home gardeners should select a pot with a drain hole and fill about 1/3 full with potting mix. Loosen your plant's root ball and place it in the pot. Add more mix and press in lightly. To finish, water your plant and let it drain. Let mix dry to the touch between waterings. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted annually. We recommend wearing gardening gloves when using this or other planting materials when you're container gardening.
