Use this organic potting soil with any outdoor plants in containers, including vegetables, herbs, flowers, annuals, and perennials. To apply, partially fill your pot with potting mix. Loosen the plant's root ball and place in the soil. Add more mix, covering plant roots, and press down lightly. To finish, water the plant thoroughly and let it drain. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, container plants should be repotted bi-annually with fresh potting soil. One 16 qt. bag of container planting soil for outdoor plants and container planting fills one 12-inch container (amounts may vary based on the size of the root ball).
